Kevin was trained at Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico and has been in private practice in Asheville for more than two years. Kevin offers a gentle and unique approach to healthcare that is tailored to the needs of each customer. He provides an atmosphere of healing that is relaxing and enjoyable. He also offers a sliding scale to best accommodate the health and financial needs of customers.

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is the practice of inserting fine, sterile, disposable needles into specific points on the body to facilitate the harmonious flow of energy in the body to maintain or restore health. In Oriental Medicine, disease of any kind, especially stress and pain, are said to be due to the blockage of the free-flow of energy in the body. With acupuncture we remove these blockages thereby restoring the free-flow of energy and restoring health or harmony in the body. When there is harmony in the body we experience a natural state of relaxation and peace of mind.

What is Chinese Herbal Medicine?

Chinese Herbal Medicine is the use of natural substances from plants and animals to restore health to the body. This type of medicine is an internal medicine in which the customer either drinks them in the form of a tea or takes them in pill form. Many diseases can be treated effectively without adverse side effects using Chinese Herbal Medicinals.
